Job Summary
Manage warehouse, front counter, back counter, delivery drivers, and administrative support personnel to supervise daily operations. Work closely with front counter and outside sales staff to promote and grow sales while maintaining adequate parts inventory levels that meet customer demands and comply with company turn-around guidelines. Review and approve all customer credits, ensure parts and cores are returned to vendors, and develop relationships with suppliers. Occasionally visit current customers to resolve problems, increase sales, and build relationships. Maintain inventory within International standards and lead department staff development.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree
- Parts Sales experience
- Parts Management or Outside Parts Sales or Heavy Duty Parts Counter sales
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be flexible and adapt to change readily
- Must have superior problem solving skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid CDL A preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop department staff members
