Job Summary
Parts Manager role leading a dealership parts department with a focus on profitability and inventory control. Responsible for supervising staff, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and coordinating with service/body shop teams to ensure parts availability and efficient repair turnaround. Requires strong purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, and the ability to analyze financial performance (sales, expenses, margins) to meet profit objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction. Experience with CDK/Axcessa and the ability to read/prepare routine reports and communicate effectively with customers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CDK and Axcessa experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
