Job Summary
Lead the Parts Department by supporting business planning, setting sales targets, and driving revenue through proactive customer engagement and relationship management. Recruit, train, and manage staff while overseeing inventory levels, stock accuracy, and supplier negotiations to maximize profitability. Monitor freight costs, aged inventory, and warranty claims, then prepare operational reports for the Branch Manager. Resolve purchasing, invoicing, and customer service issues promptly while promoting continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure the department achieves all short and long-term operational objectives within the agricultural machinery distribution sector.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years Parts experience within the Agricultural industry
- A strong understanding of, or a background in Agriculture
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Minimum three-years management experience
- Ability to quickly learn our in-house computer programs
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- A preparedness to work outside of normal business hours if required
- The successful candidate will be required to participate in drug and alcohol testing
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate III in Automotive Sales
- Forklift licence
