Job Summary
Forecast department goals, manage an annual operating budget, and oversee hiring, training, and performance of all parts staff. Maintain balanced inventory levels, establish pricing parameters, and develop an aggressive wholesale program to maximize profit and turnover. Monitor sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to ensure profit goals are met while handling customer complaints and ensuring high-quality service for internal and external clients. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and enforce special ordering policies. This role requires strong time management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a competitive salary of $60-80k plus bonus potential, 401(k) matching, and full health benefits. Hill International Trucks, a 125-year family-owned dealership, expects occasional weekends, evenings, and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Two to Five years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Requires sitting for long periods
- Requires bending/stooping/kneeling/crouching/reaching for short periods
- Requires occasional lifting of 5 to 20 pounds
- Requires accurate, knowledgeable detailed work
- Occasionally exposed to engine exhaust fumes
- Occasionally exposed to loud noise
- Works overtime as required
- Will be expected to travel as needed to company locations
- Periodic weekend or evening work is expected
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding time management and organization
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Windows-based computer systems
