Job Summary
Manage inventory stocking levels, days supply, and inventory turns while organizing daily movement of truck parts. Conduct part number and vendor research, place regular stock orders, and confirm parts processing to update the inventory system. Pull parts for shop and shipping, catalog new items with barcodes, and track warranty returns. Supervise stock order procedures, forecast department inventory, and enforce guidelines for customer interactions. Monitor employee performance, handle hiring and payroll requests, and establish work schedules. Ensure parts availability for the service department to meet shop goals.
Required Qualifications
- Management or supervisory role
- 2 years + Management or supervisory role experience
- Parts Sales
- 2 years + Parts Sales experience
- Service Technician
- 1 years + Service Technician experience
- High school or equivalent
- Driver's License
- Must be able to work without serious physical limitations
- Ability to read and write
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Proficient in computers
- Knowledge of parts identification, sourcing and application
- Knowledgeable of system software applications to inventory control
- Capable of conducting effective training
- Be on time every day
