Job Summary
Manage and complete all parts ordering by quickly and accurately ordering parts based on initial estimates and supplements, communicating with vendors as needed, and partnering with Repair Planners to ensure parts accuracy. Monitor deliveries by regularly tracking parts status, updating Repair Planners, and inspecting delivered parts for quality within two hours of expected drop-off. Receive and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders, return incorrect parts immediately to vendors, and drive parts-related KPIs by monitoring margins, pending credits, inventory, and material spend. Coordinate parts invoicing by ensuring daily postings in CCC One and support Body Technicians with parts knowledge and reference materials. Lead the Parts Team by serving as a mentor and directing assistant activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Driver's License
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Experience in a parts capacity in the automotive industry
- Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders
- Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software
