Job Summary
Lead and manage all daily operations of the parts department, maintaining optimal inventory levels while controlling obsolescence. Monitor department performance to drive profitability goals and analyze sales trends to implement revenue strategies. Develop and mentor staff, ensure exceptional customer service for retail and internal clients, and build vendor relationships. Maintain accurate records, reporting, and inventory controls while ensuring compliance with dealership policies. Collaborate closely with the service department to maximize efficiency. Annual compensation ranges from $130,000 to $190,000 based on experience and performance, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401(k) match, and paid time off. Import dealership experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Manager
- Import dealership experience required (Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Mazda, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, or similar brands)
- Strong inventory management and forecasting experience
- Proven track record of achieving department sales and profitability goals
- Experience managing and developing employees
- Strong knowledge of dealership management systems and parts operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial and operational reports
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
