Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including preparing and administering the annual operating budget, reviewing daily performance and inventory reports, and maintaining optimal stock levels. Supervise front counter and warehouse staff by motivating, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees while enforcing policies and customer service standards. Resolve customer complaints immediately, visit clients to maintain relations and generate sales, and collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure timely parts turnaround. Establish and enforce pricing policies that balance volume, loyalty, and business costs. Requires 5+ years of heavy-duty truck experience and proven managerial leadership skills. Full-time position with a salary of $70,000-$80,000 plus a monthly bonus plan.
Required Qualifications
- Parts expertise and knowledge: A solid understanding of automotive/truck parts is essential for success in this role.
- Proven experience in directly supervising and leading teams, with a focus on fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty trucks is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in the industry.
- Familiarity with supplies, equipment, and mechanical parts would be an added advantage, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the role.
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority.
- Previous managerial experience is required, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Possess strong leadership skills, capable of guiding a team towards achieving common goals while promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Desired Qualifications
- While not mandatory, a background in inventory management, purchasing, and acquisition would be highly beneficial in excelling in this position.
- Ability to communicate effectively across various functions and collaborate seamlessly with team members and stakeholders.
- 5+ Years of Experience in Heavy-Duty Trucks (Preferred): A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty trucks is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in the industry.
- Knowledge of Supplies, Equipment, and Mechanical Parts (Advantageous): Familiarity with supplies, equipment, and mechanical parts would be an added advantage, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the role.
