Job Summary
Forecast department goals and objectives while managing inventory control, purchasing procedures, and pricing policies to maintain profitability. Direct outside sales efforts, coordinate shipping and receiving, and compile month-end financial reports for the accounting department. Supervise all parts department staff by hiring, training, and conducting performance reviews to ensure alignment with company guidelines. Handle customer complaints immediately and enforce safety requirements including forklift training and OSHA protocols. Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure cohesive departmental operations and attend monthly meetings to drive future promotions.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years parts manager (automotive or heavy truck)
- 1 year inventory management
- Drivers License
