Job Summary
Oversee the parts department with a focus on performance and customer service. Responsibilities include supervising and training personnel, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff, developing annual marketing and budget plans, setting pricing and discount criteria, maintaining accurate inventory control, and coordinating with other dealership departments. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (CFR 396) and manage documentation for maintenance files. Maintain strong customer relationships with a target of high retention, monitor financial results against the business plan, and drive department productivity and teamwork. Requires a minimum high school diploma or GED and 5-7 years of trucking/automotive management experience, plus a valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
