Job Summary
Parts Logistics Specialist 1 role performing inventory control activities including picking, counting, packing, shipping, receiving, and distribution; interfaces with Inventory Control and other functions; handles incoming shipments, routing, moving and labeling materials; supports component part fulfillment to second operations and final assembly; performs routine material transactions and cycle counts; inspects and documents damages or discrepancies; operates warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and related technologies; seeks feedback and opportunities to learn new skills; strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement; requires proficiency with alphanumeric sequences, Excel, and warehouse software; capable of professional multi-tasking and delivering quality customer service in a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with alphanumeric sequences
- Basic Excel skills
- Proficiency with company approved software, office, and warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks etc.)
- Ability to interact professionally within a work environment and set an example for others in the areas of multi-tasking, prioritizing workload, showing initiative, meeting quality standards, providing superior customer service and maintaining a positive attitude in an ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated consistency regarding attendance, punctuality, and performing work activities in a manner that is consistent with Company policy
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong continuous improvement orientation. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to consistently set an example for other in all Core Value areas
- Physical demands: ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds; use PPE; manufacturing environment
