Job Summary

Oversees parts department operations within the dealership to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability through parts sales, inventory control, and expense management. Develops and enforces department processes, promotes merchandise across store locations, sets annual goals and budgets, executes and monitors a Parts Department marketing plan, maintains accurate inventory controls, handles warranty/return claims for maximum credit, optimizes discount programs, ensures all tools and vehicles are in good order, leads recruitment and employee development, manages security for the facility, communicates needs to Corporate Parts Management, and collaborates with sales and service to support Customer Account Management.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in Parts Department operations
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends
  • Excellent customer service skills
