Parts Inventory Clerk

Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts for accuracy, then deliver them to the correct location while recording transactions in the CMMS system. Store components in designated sanitary areas following GMPs, HACCP, and food safety guidelines. Support the Maintenance Planner by staging, kitting, and verifying parts for planned maintenance work. Conduct routine cycle counts, assist with physical inventory audits, and monitor stock levels via MRO shortage reports to order based on min/max levels. Process returns, warranty parts, and defective items according to company procedures. Maintain a clean, organized parts room using 5S principles and ensure all documentation meets food safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Understanding of GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation requirements
- Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food production, warehousing, or inventory control
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, D365, Limble, JD Edwards, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
