Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service and expert parts advice to customers over the counter, via telephone, and by email. Interpret customer requests for parts, process order entry, and provide updates on order status, pricing, product range, and estimated delivery times. Assist external Sales and Warehouse teams as required. This role prioritizes a people-centric culture with recognition programs, incentives, and professional development opportunities including access to LinkedIn Learning. TVH is a global leader in quality parts and accessories for material handling, industrial vehicles, and construction equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate a passion for customer service
- previous retail and/or customer service experience
- Prior experience as a Parts Interpreter or Parts Manager in a trade, retail or similar environment
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills
- Attention to detail
- a 'can do' attitude
- Confident computer skills
- ability to learn an in-house ERP system
Desired Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, materials handling, agricultural, industrial or automotive parts
- an interest in cars, construction machinery, forklifts, tractors, and more
- a service or parts background
- want to move away from working on the tools
