Job Summary
Parts Interpreter role at a Warrnambool branch for Truckline/Bapcor Australia. You will be the customer-facing point of contact, identifying the right parts solutions across truck, trailer, automotive, mechanical or electrical parts. Responsibilities include interpreting customer requirements, sourcing parts via catalogs and inventory systems, processing sales transactions and warranty claims, communicating technical information clearly to customers, assisting with packing, dispatch and occasional deliveries, maintaining showroom pricing and merchandising standards, monitoring stock levels, supporting warehouse operations, collaborating with team members to ensure smooth branch operations, resolving customer enquiries, and contributing ideas to improve processes. Essential attributes include strong customer service, attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. An LF licence is highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, or strong exposure to automotive, mechanical or electrical parts
- Proven customer service skills with strong verbal and interpersonal communication
- Ability to confidently use cataloguing systems and inventory databases
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills
- Analytical thinker with effective problem-solving skills
