Job Summary
Parts Interpreter in Mackay, Australia, responsible for interpreting parts requirements, providing accurate parts advice, processing orders (quotes and invoices), sourcing parts from internal systems and external vendors, and ensuring timely parts availability to support workshop and field service teams. Builds strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams; manages inventory with stock controls, replenishment activities and cycle counts to maintain optimal levels; delivers high levels of customer service and clear communication to keep equipment running efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience – previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar role supporting parts and service operations.
- Equipment knowledge – understanding of heavy equipment, mining or construction machinery is highly regarded.
- Strong systems capability – confident computer skills with experience using parts systems and related software.
- Customer-focused communicator – excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Detail oriented and organised – high level of attention to detail with the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.
- Collaborative and adaptable – able to work effectively within a team while managing competing priorities.
