Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, verify manifests, and maintain maintenance records before departing. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload various types of parts and flatbed cargo between customer sites, branch locations, and Parts Drop Box locations. Assist with sorting and organizing parts, keep the truck clean and professionally maintained, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients. Adhere strictly to company and DOT safety policies while maintaining a clean driving record. Work Monday through Friday from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM as an authorized Caterpillar dealer for Southeast Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record including MVR, PSP, and Clearinghouse compliance
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a commercial DOT-regulated vehicle hauling flatbed cargo
- Experience loading, securing, and unloading flatbed materials safely
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety requirements
- Familiarity with DOT logbooks and electronic logging systems (e-logs)
- Experience operating a forklift
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience operating: Flatbed trucks with bumper pull trailers
- Experience operating: Gooseneck trailers
