Job Summary
Parts Hanger operates overhead conveyor at 8-10 feet per minute, uses a hand truck, tests and inspects parts for quality, maintains records, and supports environmental and quality processes. Responsibilities include cleaning/changing wash-system nozzles, dumping/refilling wash stages, and completing quality paperwork. Environment may include coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and variable temperatures. Requires ability to stand for up to 2 hours and read/work with work instructions; prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred; Dee Zee emphasizes teamwork, coaching, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing growth.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Must be able to operate hand truck
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and control plan
- Ability to stand at paint line or wash line for periods of up to 2 hours at a time
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
