Parts Finisher - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Deburs parts using wheels, reamers, drills, or pneumatic tools while loading, unloading, and immersing components in washing and rinsing solutions. Operate an ultrasonic machine to clean parts, measure chemicals, regulate cycle and temperature, and inspect items under a microscope. Complete non-electronic parts assembly, packaging, paperwork, and Heli-Coil installation. Load and unload materials from the washer to specified areas. Use a pallet jack or other moving equipment throughout the shift. Shift hours run 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Previous general labor experience in a machine shop environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor as needed
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to recognize and sort materials
- Ability to operate machinery
- Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed
- Previous general labor experience in a machine shop environment preferred
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8-10 hours
- Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
- Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work
- Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned
- Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments
- Must also have close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus and judge depth
- Color vision is required as well
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Due to ITAR regulations, only U.S. persons—defined as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U.S. nationals—are eligible for this position
