Job Summary
Ensure safe and on-time shipment of parts to customers while inspecting and recording any damage or discrepancies. Maintain cleanliness of the shipping/loading area and perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Assist with inventory control and deliver parts to correct customers and shops, notifying management if issues arise with the parts vehicle. Notify management if anything is wrong with the parts vehicle. Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Highly professional and dependable
- Safety and customer service oriented
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- Automotive experience is ideal
