Parts Department Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
Operate within the Parts Department in a warehouse setting to support delivery and inventory workflows. Responsibilities include keeping delivery schedules, loading and securing parts trucks, observing safety policies, reporting customer information and buying habits, processing customer orders for delivery, verifying inventory against shipping papers, performing vehicle safety checks, presenting bills and collecting payments, picking up parts from customers/vendors, maintaining inventory health through cycle counts, placing new stock in proper bin locations, and ensuring compliance and accuracy of delivery/pickup processes. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, ability to perform basic arithmetic, strong customer service and communication skills, detail orientation, proficiency with computers and mobile devices, and physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to drive vehicles with a standard (manual) and automatic transmission
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to occasionally lift or move 100 pounds from floor to waist with assistance
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Proficient computer skills. Ability to use a smart phone or hand-held device
- A valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards
