Job Summary
Shipping and Receiving Assistant at Ascendance Truck Centers handling shipping/receiving of parts, inventory, and quality control; pulling/processing orders; ensuring inventory accuracy; inspecting shipments; logging deliveries; delivering/picking up parts to customers and vendors; route daily 50-100 miles with home every night; must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; daily operations include safety rules and maintenance instructions; strong emphasis on customer relations and data/document handling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Valid Driver's License
