Parts Counterperson

Parts Counterperson at Prestige Volkswagen of Stamford oversees the parts sales process from start to finish, communicates with customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner, reads and interprets the parts catalog, provides price quotes, reviews body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing, services both internal and external customers, pulls and fills stock orders, maintains stock accuracy with weekly bin checks, alerts the parts manager to out-of-stock parts, sources out-of-stock items from outside suppliers, ensures internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders, handles payments or credit authorizations, and sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, experience with auto parts sales preferred, able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational/time-management skills, and be capable of reading technical documents and performing basic calculations related to pricing and parts usage.
