Job Summary
Parts Counterperson responsibilities include assisting customers, service advisors and technicians, overseeing the parts sales process from inquiry to invoicing, collaborating with the parts manager and team to improve efficiency, ensuring prompt, courteous service, handling special order part requests, coordinating status updates and delivery notifications, and serving as backup to related roles. Requires reading computer catalogs to determine replacement part numbers and prices, adherence to company policies, compliance with applicable regulations, and prior parts counter experience with a customer-service focus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior Parts counter experience
- Experience with auto parts sales preferred
- People focused and obsessed with providing great customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Proficient with computer skills is preferred
- Valid and current Driver's License with ability to maintain a good driving record.
