Parts Counterperson Professional

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, including reading parts catalogs, answering phone calls, and providing price quotes. Verify body shop estimates to ensure ordered parts and pricing align with estimates, then pull and fill orders from stock while maintaining weekly bin checks. Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items, locate parts from external sources for emergency orders, and deliver orders to wholesale customers. Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization, ensuring all internal requests are billed on service repair orders. Communicate with staff and customers professionally regarding parts status. Requires a high school diploma, prior auto parts sales experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
