Job Summary
Parts Counterperson at Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian (Murgado Automotive Group). Responsibilities include assisting customers and technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts, processing parts orders efficiently and accurately, maintaining an organized parts counter and storage area, managing inventory levels and notifying the parts manager of shortages, handling customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service, processing returns and warranty claims, and staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department, preferably with Mercedes-Benz
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems such as CDK and Paragon
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency with parts catalog and inventory management software
- Valid driver’s license
