Parts Counterperson

Job Summary
Pull and fill orders for daily shipment, delivery, and pick-up while calling outside vendors for emergency out-of-stock needs. Communicate with customers regarding price quotes, payment processing, and credit authorization, and review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing. Maintain weekly bin checks for stock accuracy, ensure internal parts requests are properly billed, and notify management of parts or shop materials requiring immediate attention. Requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to calculate discounts and percentages in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check and review of motor vehicle records
