Job Summary
Assist all customers in selecting required parts, inform them of companion part requirements and specials, and answer phone calls to provide price quotes. Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items needing immediate attention, issue credit for returned parts, and set up orders for daily shipment or pick-up. Maintain clean counter areas while ensuring a professional appearance. This role supports Jim Hudson Chevrolet's commitment to customer satisfaction since 1980.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
- Must pass background test and drug screening prior to employment
