Job Summary
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, including selling parts, taking inventory of stock in storage and on shelves, and checking in new inventory each morning. Work with the parts manager to locate parts not in stock and complete special order part requests for customers or technicians. Communicate with customers, advisors, and technicians regarding parts status while distributing parts and supplies to technicians. Maintain a friendly and professional manner, adhere to all company safety policies and applicable regulations, and lift 50 pounds while working on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 year in service department
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Parts experience and certifications at a Ford dealership is a plus
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Experience with Ford parts sales (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
