Parts Counterperson

Greet customers, determine their needs, and provide excellent customer service while establishing payment methods and handling telephone inquiries. Manage parts distribution to service technicians, accept warranty returns, and process all pertinent documents and associated paperwork. Actively identify related parts for repair jobs, advise customers on stocking status, and ensure department security for parts and paperwork. Write purchase orders for external suppliers with management approval, use the computer system to post sales, and maintain accurate inventory through bin spot checks and stocking. Handle cash transactions, keep the work area clean, and report issues to the department manager.
