Job Summary
Assist customers in selecting required parts, answer phone calls for price quotes, and pull orders from stock while ensuring companion part requirements are explained. Determine incoming freight charges, review body shop estimates for accuracy, and replenish assigned inventory daily. Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items, submit emergency orders, and track back-ordered parts. Solicit assigned accounts by phone, keep counter areas clean, and participate in training programs. This role supports the Commercial Truck Sales & Leasing Dealership's customer service and parts operations.
Required Qualifications
- Two to four years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications
- Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification
