Job Summary
Parts Counter Salesperson at M&K Truck Centers focuses on delivering top-notch customer service and managing the sale and distribution of heavy-duty truck parts. Responsibilities include using catalogs and computer systems to identify replacement parts, stock numbers, and pricing; assessing customer needs and recommending replacements; processing telephone orders; fulfilling orders from warehouse stock; handling payments and credit authorizations; conducting regular inventory checks; advising substitutions when identical replacements are unavailable; inspecting returned parts and facilitating exchanges or refunds; organizing and labeling parts in the warehouse; cataloging and categorizing parts for stock shelves.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in parts counter sales for heavy-duty truck parts
- Familiarity with Volvo, Mack Isuzu, Hino parts is a plus
- Familiarity with CDK software is a plus
- Strong reading comprehension
- Excellent communication skills at the parts counter
- Willingness to learn dealership’s computer system
- Professional appearance and demeanor
