Parts Counter Sales Associate

Job Summary
Facilitate parts orders from internal and external customers, greet customers entering the branch, promptly answer phone calls, process orders from all communication methods, and maintain accurate records of customer transactions. Follow up on vendor back orders and vendor invoices, ensure credit on returns, promote customer satisfaction, maintain understanding of product lines, read and interpret parts manuals and campaigns, and demonstrate professional demeanor. Assist with parts deliveries as needed, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure reliable on-site attendance. This role requires basic knowledge of construction equipment and operating systems and strong verbal/written communication to support lifetime customer relationships and drive service excellence. The position is safety-sensitive and operates within an equal opportunity framework.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One (1) year of parts experience, preferably in the heavy equipment or related industry
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess basic knowledge and understanding of construction equipment and operating systems, such as hydraulic and electrical systems
