Job Summary
Provide superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone to customers while helping them determine correct parts needed, verify availability, and make recommendations. Determine the correct parts and their availability, complete parts orders, and identify supplying facilities and transportation modes. Enter shipping information into the parts ordering system to process orders and generate invoices, while managing backorders, returns, and exchanges. Assist the team with group sales, parts stocking, pulling, and inventory counts. Perform hydraulic hose assembly builds and maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while collaborating effectively on the team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in diesel engine and construction equipment, or automotive parts or service
- Basic computer skills (navigation, searching)
- Microsoft Outlook (email)
- Good communication skills including, telephone and in-person
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to maintain clean and safe work environment
