Job Summary
Parts Counter Sales professional to process customer orders, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service for HVACR parts. Responsibilities include identifying HVACR parts and equipment, processing quotes and orders, promoting product promotions, maintaining the showroom, providing friendly customer service, reporting inventory discrepancies, and supporting customer relationships. May perform warehouse duties and be on-call/overtime/weekends as needed; located in Lexington, KY.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior Counter Sales experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Computer skills
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Mathematical Skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
- Reasoning Ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Physical/Environmental requirements: office environment with possible field work; physical stamina to lift/move weights as described
