Job Summary
Process parts orders accurately, collaborate with the warehouse to manage inventory levels, and locate secure parts from vendors for shop jobs. Greet and assist customers at the counter, utilizing product knowledge to guide selections and provide technical assistance to service technicians. Handle customer returns, maintain accurate transaction records, and generate reports on sales and inventory to identify process improvements. Work Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Stay updated on diesel technologies and foster lifelong learning through in-house and online training.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- 3 years of Automotive or truck parts related experience
- Understands and can identify common commodity parts
- Able to perform accurate cycle-counts
- Able to order and check-in parts orders
- Intermediate Computer skills
- Able to work independently
- Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. shift availability
- Simple grasp, firm grasp, fine manipulation, vision and talking or hearing
- Sit, stand, use a phone, personal computer, copier, and printer/scanners
- Bend, walk, reach, lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Squatting, kneeling, crawling or laying on one's back, pushing, pulling, climbing or balancing, driving and lifting or carrying up to 100lbs
