Job Summary
Determine needs and accurately specify parts, then create and modify purchase orders to issue them to vendors. Record warranty parts returns and create special orders on the dealership computer system, notifying technicians or clients upon receipt. Review special order tracking, process and close open invoices, and compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity. Maintain records of outside purchases and parts received and issued, while performing ongoing warehouse parts inventory. Attend weekly department meetings. Requires one year of dealership experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to sit, stand, and lift 25lbs. Must be able to use a computer.
