Job Summary
Listen to customers and meet their needs at the Asheville Parts Counter by identifying required parts using catalogs and the computer system. Process parts orders for phone and counter inquiries while maintaining a current knowledge base of all product offerings. Locate and obtain parts, keeping the counter and parts room neat and clean. Perform other related duties as assigned, including operating basic office equipment like the phone system and computer. Requires three years of experience in parts sales or counter operations. Training occurs via Case Web Academy and hands-on sessions with Parts managers.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma and/or GED
- A minimum of three years' experience in parts sales and/or counter operations
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
- Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are occasionally required
- Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required
- Keying data is repetitive motion and is frequently required
- The position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions

- Knowledgeable of techniques of receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to operate basic office equipment such as phone system, computer, fax, and calculator
