Parts Counter Associate

The Parts Counter Associate sells automotive parts over the counter, through the shop, and on the phone, assisting all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include informing customers of companion part requirements, answering phone inquiries with price quotes and information, reviewing body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing, pulling and filling orders from stock, notifying relevant parties about back-ordered or special-ordered parts, ensuring parts are tagged with customer names and job numbers, maintaining inventory and paperwork flow, handling billing on service repair orders, and assisting outside sales representatives. Requires excellent communication and customer-service skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and strong computer and phone skills (MS Outlook); Tekion is a plus. A degree in automotive technology or military equivalent experience is preferred; bilingual ability is a plus. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and able to pass pre-employment screening and background checks.
