Job Summary
Track and manage inventories by verifying numbers, manually deducting removed parts, and generating purchase orders for back stock. Order parts on an emergency basis, retrieve and return equipment from vendors safely, and update the invoicing program daily. Perform daily physical inventory including unboxing, locating, and receiving new parts while maintaining a clean workspace. Operate a forklift to move heavy equipment and support maintenance techs during weekend rebuild projects. Issue purchase orders, follow up with vendors for pricing accuracy, and enter data for new vendors or parts. Requires a valid California driver's license, three years of parts coordination experience, and forklift certification. Swing shift hours at Mid Valley Family Foods offer a competitive hourly rate of $27.00-$28.00 with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid California driver's license
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with exposure to part coordination/purchasing/ordering
- The ability to obtain a forklift certification and operate a forklift
- The ability to work in an office setting involving, but not limited to sitting, standing, kneeling, etc.
- The ability to work in a cold storage warehouse and in all weather conditions such as rain and heat
