Job Summary
Parts Coordinator duties include ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order; verify quality and accuracy of parts received per production schedule; ensure timely parts distribution to the shop; enter invoices into the MIS; label and track parts by RO number; communicate price changes to team members; manage parts sourcing tools and vendor relationships; work with vendors to ensure correct parts are available to support repairs; maintain accurate records and optimize parts workflow to support customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus)
- Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational ability
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Working knowledge of MIS systems (Summit, Repair Centre)
- Knowledge of Mitchell, Audatex, Car-part, Progi, LKQ
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
