Job Summary
Parts Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience while proactively managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for repair orders. Verify the accuracy and quality of parts received in a timely manner per the production schedule and vehicle needs. Key duties include: executing the WOW plan, communicating customer requests to the team, coordinating with vendors to order and receive parts, ensuring timely distribution to the shop, entering part invoices into the MIS, labeling and tracking parts by RO number, communicating price changes, ordering supplemental parts, reconciling vendor invoice history, and maintaining accurate discounts to protect margins. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Education/experience requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3+ years in automotive parts, with I-Car registration (working toward Gold Class).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus)
- Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational ability
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
