Job Summary
Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and clients while locating difficult-to-find parts and negotiating with vendors for the best deals. Accurately quote parts, input data into the management system, and track lost sales to meet purchasing objectives. Assist other parts coordinators as needed and perform other duties assigned. Requires 3+ years of experience in wholesale auto parts, ASE certification in P1 and P2 preferred, and exceptional phone and negotiation skills. Full-time role, M–F 7:00-4:00 PM EST, with competitive hourly pay of $25-$28.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a highly competitive market
- Knowledge of light/medium duty parts/vehicles
- Exceptional phone skills: positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone to help the internal customers feel comfortable during the conversation, clear enunciation, exceptional listening skills
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships
- Results focused, producer, closer, committed to growth
- Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
- Outgoing and assertive personality to take initiative, be pro-active, be very positive, and have a can-do attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Prior success selling wholesale auto parts particularly in aftermarket industry preferred
- ASE certifications in P1 and P2 preferred
- Experience with POS system a plus
- Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel preferred
