Job Summary
Parts Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving, processing, and monitoring auto parts throughout the repair process, collaborating with the General Manager, estimators, and technicians to resolve parts-related issues. Duties include ordering parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates, communicating part availability and delays with estimators, returning incorrect parts to vendors, monitoring deliveries and parts status, and driving parts-related KPIs. The role requires 3 years parts experience preferred, strong knowledge of automotive parts, effective communication, ability to read estimates and work orders, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and being at least 18 with a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- 3 years parts experience preferred
- Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
- Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license
