Job Summary
Parts Continuous Improvement Manager at JX responsible for driving operational excellence, frontline efficiency, and process standardization across Parts Departments. Travels extensively to branches (up to 75%) to diagnose bottlenecks, stabilize operations, and coach local teams. Leads SOP development, education rollouts on counter operations and modern warehouse management, and partners with local Parts Managers to sustain improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in purchasing/supply chain/inventory management, with strong ERP and analytics capabilities. Focus areas include inventory data integrity, utilization of dispatch/delivery tools (Elite Extra, RingCX), front-counter metrics, and customer experience improvements. Will act as field champion for new part initiatives and align frontline with global corporate initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management; parts purchasing experience preferred
- Expertise in inventory control, purchasing practices, supplier management, and contract negotiation
- Proficient with ERP systems, Google Workplace, and advanced spreadsheet analysis
- Proven ability to manage inventory parameters and optimize high-turn inventory environments
- Experience in forecasting, inventory planning, and process improvement
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Familiarity with master supply agreements, supplier business reviews, pricing structures, and sales and operations planning
