Job Summary
Maintain proper fleet inventory and support technicians by locating, delivering, and stocking necessary parts, tires, and tools for the company's heavy-duty truck fleet. Identify parts and their locations, control inventory levels with minimums and maximums, and receive shipments from vendors while correctly labeling and stocking items physically and digitally. Physically unload parts, load technician supplies to and from service trucks, and determine specific parts needed to complete repairs based on technician requests. Work overtime and outside normal hours including weekends and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- knowledge in mechanical parts pertaining to diesel and gasoline engines
- knowledge with medium to heavy duty trucks
- ability to identify parts and their locations
- ability to control inventory
- 3-5 years of experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willing to work overtime when requested
- Willing to work outside the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position
- valid Florida driver's license
- Proficient with inventory software, POS systems, computers, and the internet
- Ability to lift heavy items, bend, twist, turn, climb ladders and stairs
- Self-Motivated
