Job Summary
Order parts, manage inventory, and track repair and return items while keeping MP2 records corrected. Put parts in designated locations and retrieve them for mechanics as needed. Operate power equipment such as scissor lifts or forklifts to move parts, motors, and other materials. Perform daily tasks including ordering, inventory checks, and work order input, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for O.K. Foods
- Must be consistently at work and on time
- Must follow instructions, respond to management direction
- Must take responsibility for own actions
- Must observe safety and security procedures
- Must report potentially unsafe conditions
- Must use equipment and materials properly
