Parts Associate/ Forklift Operator

Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments while verifying contents against packing slips. Unload trucks, sort items, and store materials in designated locations using proper labeling. Pick, pack, wrap, and label orders to prepare for shipment, then stage and load outgoing orders onto vehicles. Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety hazards to the supervisor. Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks under supervision. Maintain a clean, safe environment and work extended periods standing, bending, or lifting loads up to 50 lbs. Shifts, weekends, or overtime may be required during peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull loads (e.g., up to 50 lbs, depending on the facility)
- Basic math and reading skills (to read labels, packing slips, etc.)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, climb, and move for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy; ability to learn warehouse management systems or inventory software
- May require working shifts, weekends, or overtime during peak periods
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred
- No prior experience required (though warehouse or logistics experience is a plus)
- Warehouse environment (temperature may vary; may include cold or climate-controlled zones). Exposure noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Use of safety gear (e.g., gloves, safety shoes, high-visibility vests, etc.). Frequent lifting, bending, stretching, walking, and standing
