Parts Assistant

Job Summary
Manage and supervise parts inventory, purchasing, and invoicing while handling daily orders including shipping and receiving. Obtain and prepare parts quotes, coordinate inventory from manufacturers and vendors, and confirm invoice accuracy. Oversee the warehouse to ensure cleanliness and organization, and coordinate with service departments regarding delivery schedules. Operate a forklift or telehandler to unload and load freight trucks, requiring the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Maintain a clean driving record for local parts pickup and delivery. This role offers overtime pay after 40 hours and includes on-call scheduling with additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a clean driving record
- Must possess exceptional customer service, organization, time management and communication skills
- Ability to operate a forklift/telehandler to unload and load freight trucks
- Must be able to lift up to 75-100 lbs
- Employment is contingent on passing a background check
- Some roles require passing a drug test
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry
- Previous or current experience with budgeting
- Knowledge of excel and the use of spreadsheets
