Job Summary
Assemble fitness equipment, components, and hardware according to specifications using hand and power tools safely. Gather, sort, count, and organize parts while following blueprints, diagrams, and written assembly instructions. Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, function, and quality, communicating any missing or damaged components to team members. Maintain an organized workstation, assist with material handling, and work toward daily production goals while adhering to safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment. Cross-train in other production areas as business needs require. This full-time role supports Sorinex Exercise Equipment's manufacturing of strength and training gear for collegiate, professional, and military clients.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, assembly, construction, automotive, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role
- Experience using common hand tools and power tools
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Ability to read basic blueprints, diagrams, or product specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and ability to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
- Wear required personal protective equipment
